Well, no one could defeat him but it looks like John Cena will be losing his championship title. Cena has torn a pectoral tendon that required surgery and will force him to be out of action for 6-12 months. The injury was inflicted by a surprise attack from Randy Orton on Monday Night Raw.
On ECW this week, Vince McMahon announced that the WWE Championship Title is now vacant and that a championship match would be scheduled for the upcoming No Mercy pay per view event. At this time, no contenders have been announced. However, it is no secret that Randy Orton and Triple H have both been wanting to gain that title.
With Cena out of action, the door is open for either Orton or Triple H to take over the reigns as the WWE Champ. Cena originally vowed to compete at No Mercy regardless of how serious the injury. However, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete at the event. This smells of a surprise Cena visit but we will have to wait and see.

Fatal Leniency Towards the Behaviour of Orton
I come from a very remote part of the world in Africa. Iam a WWE fan. I do not perhaps follow completely the rules of the game.But why has management condoned the behaviour of Randy this long. Does WWE management encourage this as part of the game-never to protect its superstars from hate actions. The spoilers are getting the upper hand!

The only reason Randy Orton ran out there and did what he did to John was because he knew he couldn't beat John ever, so he thought :If I hurt John while he's down then I won't have to fight him and lose at o Mercy" so he beat up John so then he could go against people who were about the same or weaker than him, then he would get the belt, no problem. But he better be ready because all the people he back stabbed and talked crap about are coming for that belt. And I feel sorry for Randy when HHH or Shawn Michels gets up in that ring with him.
