The joke that is Britney Spears continues. Prosecutors have now pressed charges against Britney Spears for a hit and run incident and driving without a valid license. Both are misdemeanor counts stemming from an incident that occurred in August where Spears allegedly crashed into another car in a parking lot.

CNN reports that the accident was filmed by paparazzi. That incident occurred as Britney pulled into a Studio City parking lot and struck a parked vehicle. Britney, being true to most people's opinion about her, took a look at the damage to only her own car and calmly turned and walked away.

The owner of the vehicle struck by Spears filed a police report three days later. The owner later learned that Spears was the one who struck her car through a video found on the internet.

Spears was recently ordered by a judge to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of the child custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. She must also meet eight hours a week with a parenting coach who will observe and report on her parenting skills. Spears is now due back in court on October 16th for the latest charges.
