America's Junior Miss Winner

The America's Junior Miss contest found its winner Saturday night. Nora Ali, of Minnesota was crowned as the 2007 America's Junior Miss. Nora Ali will win a $50,000 scholarship for her achievement in this contest.

The first runner up was Pennsylvania's Karin Tsai. First runner up is awarded a $25,000 scholarship. Winner of a $15,000 scholarship was Nevada's Junior Miss Chantel Hopper.

In addition to this, a contestant is selected each year to receive the Spirit of Junior Miss award. This award is voted on by all of the contestants in the America's Junior Miss contest and is an acknowledgment of the contestant who most displayed what it means to be a Junior Miss. This years winner was Alabama's Junior Miss Mary Catherine McAnnally.

Contestants in the competition are judged on scholastics, interviews, fitness, self-expression, and talent.
